I haven't touched UnrealEd since UT2k3, since it had those handy video tutorials right on the DVD (if you bought that edition). Pretty slick, but I could never do much more than code a bunch of placeholder boxes and happy face balls running around.
I have a friend back in Maine who created this cool mod called Hamster Bash though, which I was pretty impressed with. Plus, how could you go wrong with little hamsters running around in balls and attacking each other with them? =)
